Message from the Parents’ Club, Spring 2012

Dear Stanford Parents,

It’s hard to believe, but Commencement is just around the corner!

The Parents’ Club volunteers its services at Commencement, and we hope to see you there. We will be helping at President John Hennessy’s reception on Saturday afternoon, directing families to buses, the president’s receiving line and the house tour. This is a wonderful event, and we strongly recommend you plan to attend if your son or daughter is graduating this year.

Please visit our website or “like” us on Facebook to see what we do, what services we offer and how you can join us to feel more involved in university life.

Our Spring Dinner is coming up on Sunday, May 20, and our final meeting and social for the 2011-12 academic year will be our June luncheon on Tuesday, June 12. For more information, visit our website calendar or e-mail me at parentsclub.stanford@gmail.com.

Be on the lookout for a summer mailing from us. You will receive a Parents’ Club mailing with the schedule for our speaker series for the 2012-13 school year, an order form for our cake, cookie, brownie, balloon and flower delivery service and a membership form. Send that membership form back to us so that you may remain on our mailing list and hear about what’s happening for parents!

Remember, we have no dues, but lots of benefits. Parents of graduates are welcome to remain involved in our activities.

Best Regards,
Sheree Williams
President, Parents’ Club of Stanford University
